Cardholders have the choice of applying for Bank of India Starlinks Debit cum ATM card or BOI Global Debit cum ATM card (MasterCard)

BOI Global debit cum ATM card is presently available to accountholders in Networked branches only

 
 



  • Starlinks International Debit cum ATM Cards (Visa)
  • BOI Global Debit cum ATM Card (Master card)
Notice

 

  • Debit cum ATM card can be used  to book tickets on IRCTC website (Transaction charges Rs 10/- in addition to ticket payment and IRCTC charges).

  • Debit cum ATM card is also accepted on billers / merchants  websites to make online payments under the  Debit card option, If "BOI Debit cum ATM card” is displayed as one of the payment option.
 
Eligibility
Satisfactory running SB, Current, Overdraft Accounts Operated upon singly (In Jt. Accounts – Any one to operate).
Accounts of minors or in which minor is a joint account holder, are not eligible.
In case of STUDENT, who have completed 15 years of age and operate their SB A/c. themselves (not through guardians). In this case, the card is usable only in ATMs, and NOT in Merchant Locations.
Minimum Balance
SB – 500/- ( Debit Card are also issued to NO Frills Accountholders also )
CD –  Rs.5000/-
Facilities offered

Transaction at ATM

 
At ATM of BOI & ATM of other designated networks
a.Withdrawal of Cash upto Rs.15,000/- per day.
b.Balance enquiry.
At ATM of Bank of India
c. Deposit of Cash & Cheques at ATM with depositories.( mainly in ON SITE ATMs)equest a cheque book.andChange PIN.
g. Star Sandesh (SMS) is sent free of charges on all Debit transactions through ATM.
d. Transfer of balances among the accounts attached to the Card (only on – on site ATMS).
e. Mini statement of last 5 transactions for any a/c. attached to the card.

Transaction on Point of Sale (POS) Terminals.
Upto Rs.25,000/- per day.
Attachment of additional accounts
Primary account with additional 5 accounts in the same name & same capacity. Cardholder may access any where in India any of the six accounts attached to the card.
When the Card with multiple accounts is used at POS, the primary account will be debited.

Transaction at OVERSEAS ATM

Rs.125/- + 2% currency conversion charges
Balance enquiry
Rs.15/- to Rs.25/-
Merchant transaction at POS
2% currency conversion charges
Loss of Cards
1.Promptly report to the bank.
2.Lodge Police Complaint and furnish copy to the Bank.
3.A replacement card would be issued to the customer on receipt of written application.
Customer may call the number assigned for hot listing the card.
Misuse of Lost Card
Zero liability for cardholder from the time of reporting the loss of card.
Security
 
1.Card & PIN should be kept separately.
2.Card should be kept v safe otherwise it may be misused at POS terminal even without PIN.
3.Signature should be done on signature penal immediately on its receipt.
4.Loss of card should be reported immediately.
5.Card should be first used at ATM thereafter at any POS terminal.
6.PIN should be changed and should be kept secretly, so that it may not be known to any person who may misuse your card. At POS it should be used in your presence.
7.PIN Mailer will be directly sent to the Applicant & Card will be given at the branch after proper identification.
